TRIBAL INTEREST IN INDIA

India’s tribal population constitutes about eight per cent of the nation’s total population, that is 68 million. From the exotic northeast, to the states of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh, the tribal people of India still follow their ancient customs and rituals. Each of the tribal population in India has a legacy of customs, deeply rooted in tradition and superstition.
